an old friend
Share your memories...
Well, this was really neat... a old school friend of Bonnie Jo's came into the store this week. Arron Sandal... He was one of Bonnie Jo's Fav's in Big Springs...so much so that she invited him on a 2 day family trip to Great America...probably in Oct 1991....after mom had passed..cause we went in the new Van...we too Arron,, and Vicky and Tracey Garmen... It was a fun trip..but the morning we got up to go to "Great America" we went to breakfast...and came out to get going and the van drive shaft had broken...and it woulnd't go forward or backwards......Doug said our fun was over...and I said..."I don't think so"...so we had a wild taxi ride to Great America...which none of us will forget... and still had a fun time there... We ended up renting a car...and going home after great america day of fun...and then later that week doug had to go back down and return the car and pick up the van... What a big ordeal...we could have gone to hawaii on the money we spendt...haha..but it was quite a memory..
So Arron came in and was getting a few things because of his mom dying this past week. He has 2 boys and a beautiful wife.. they live in Eureka, ca now...and love it there. It was just wonderful seeing him...got in 2 Bonnie hugs...and they are doing well. He is a District supervisor for a market chain... Great job!
So guess theat was pretty big for me to see one of her old old friends. Thanks for coming in..
